Residence Inn by Marriott Raleigh Downtown at 616 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.

I do not want my secret to get out but this new hotel was much better than we expected. Traveled down to Raleigh for a concert and decided to try the Residence Inn on Salisbury and so glad we did. This hotel accepts pets but charges a $100 nonrefundable pet fee. Worth it!

We arrived at 4 o'clock for check in and greeted by a very friendly front desk receptionist who gave us suggestions for dinner and how to use the parking garage next door ( The parking garage next door has the 4th floor reserved for all guests staying at the Residence Inn. $12 a day for parking). The queen size beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Carry your room key with you ---- you'll need it to go in-and-out of the building and use the elevator. (Great security).
The Free breakfast was much better than we anticipated....waffles, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit --- great spread--- Staff were eager to help --- very friendly and accommodating.
Should we ever be in Raleigh again this will be our "go to" hotel. The secret is out so enjoy this hidden gem.
